Since Trauth Dairy’s modest beginnings in 1920, quality
has been our goal. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of Trauth
Dairy’s
employees, this goal is achieved year after year. We receive Gold
Medals and Blue Ribbons for numerous products each year from the
Kentucky State Fair. Our egg nog and sour cream have been named
Cincinnati’s
Best by Cincinnati
Magazine.
We were named the “Dairy of the Year” in 2003 and “the
best fluid milk plant” in 2004 by the All Star Dairy Association
after competing against other dairies across the country.
Did you know Louis Trauth Dairy has one of the highest AIB scores
for a dairy in the country? The AIB inspection for dairies is
an independent audit conducted by an outside audit company that grades
plants on cleanliness, sanitation and overall plant procedures. We
scored an impressive 985 out of a possible 1000 in the fluid milk
plant and a remarkable 990 in the ice cream plant.
Most dairies would gladly welcome any score above 900, so you can
see we are clearly above the norm. This is another reason why
